[Kstars-devel] Variable star

I am new to KStar, just now try to download the USNO NOMAD Cat, but it 
seems to take hours, now it have run for 3 hours but nothing is happed, 
yes its a big file, but looks that the server is very slow?

I am a variable star observer is it any way to add the GCVS- cat and 
NSV-cat in to KStar?

The software looks great but need some variable stars.
