If its fixed in 4.x I wouldn't worry about backporting it, its a pretty
minor issue.  Thanks for the quick response by the way.

I'll bet this is the problem.  I don't get two Pluto's when I zoom in
but I think I have used the update Ephemerides feature.  It might be
nice to include code in the update procedure to check for duplicate
names and possibly ask the user how they would like to remedy the
situation, i.e. keep the new one, keep the old one, keep both, etc.  It
should even be possible to compare the new and old ephemerides for the
duplicated object and if they are within a certain threshold of each
other just "keep the new one" by default.
