Sweet, it looks like this may be fixed already.  My bug got marked as
a dupe to this one:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=162285

which is marked fixed as of 05/29.  I haven't checked to see if it
fixed our crash yet, but will do so as soon as I can.
