Hmm, I don't think it's much of a problem, since images are only loaded into
memory when the object is actually on screen at a high zoom level, and the
memory is freed when it moves offscreen. If there is a delay caused by
reading the image from disk, that might be an issue, but I don't expect it to
be a problem.
I'll look into redoing all of the Messier images using this method, unless you
(Glenn) want to add Messier objects to your list?
