I can confirm Kstars doesn't have this problem anymore, I was able to 
compile it without THIS problem. Unfortunately, there is still the 
kstarsinit/setSheckedState problem.

I know I could pull out a new version of the KDElibs but I will do this 
when I'm back home in few days :)

In the meanwhile I will read the sources to better understand it...
