Regarding adding radio sources, I think we can use a very similar 
drawing function to the one we use for galaxies.  In your previous 
mail, you said we needed major and minor axes, position angle, and a 
flux.  So you can look to the function for drawing galaxies on how to 
plot an arbitrary ellipse.  For the flux, we can either just put it in 
the Details window (as we do for the optical magnitudes of deep sky 
objects), or you can modulate the color of the fill brush (brighter 
shade for higher flux).  What do you think?
