Hello Jasem,

   I have seen you have added qfits to KStars. I have never used this library 
nor did not know of it previously. I think that having FITs support in KStars 
is wonderful, .. but I have an annoying  question...

 Does qfits have a GPL, LGPL or BSD or any other free license?. I have seen 
that it is provided by ESO, but it does not seem to have any license. 
(http://www.eso.org/projects/aot/qfits/ ). We should be extremely cautious 
about reusing software we do not write and double check its license.

  Perhaps you could contact the author and ask him. I know that some code from 
ESO is LGPL, but this code in particular we should first learn about its 
licensing policy.
