[Kstars-devel] Painting of the various objects

Hi, could someone *briefly* explain me the logic that Kstars use to 
paint the various objects in the sky? I've read the source code tonite - 
every object has a different function to be painted, etc. However I 
still miss a more general view of the process.

I would like to know, in few words, what would be necessary to do to add 
a new class of objects (who said "satellites"!?) other than writing a 
function to calculate their position and paiting a spot + label :)

It would be cool to talk about this in the irc channel but by now I'm 
alone there :(
