 Ok, I think I have finished this for the time being. I have made some changes 
to the SkyObject class. Changes are splitted in two different commits. The 
first one has solved the difference I saw between the data from the almanac 
and that coming from KStars, and the second one slightly cleans part  bit the 
code. 

 Can somebody else please check the rise/set/transit time for the Sun and Moon 
by comparing with almanacs or with reality?.
