Alessio,
Sorry to hear that you have a problem with the telescope control.
When you ran the telescope wizard, did you speceify the port manually, or was the port auto scanned?
At any rate, some debugging information can be helpful to see where the error occured in the driver. From the console, run the following:
$ indiserver -v -r 0 -p 8000 celestrongps
then run KStars, go to the Devices menu, and then the Device Manager. Click on the "Add" button under hosts (client tab). Enter the following:
Name: My Celestron
Host: 127.0.0.1
Port: 8000
After you add the host, click on the "Connect" button and it should connect. Close the Device Mananger and Open the INDI Telescope Panel. You can enter the port number at the top (usually /dev/ttyS0) and then hit connect. If it connects correctly it will tell you. You can then right-click any where on the skymap and then select Slew/Track...
If the program reports "INDI agent closed connection", please copy/paste the debugging information from the console window you opened earliar to run the indiserver. This will help us to diagnose the problem. Thanks
- Jasem
