Hi Jan,

If I understand you correctly, you want to add some curves to an existing layout. In this case the recommended approach would be to use the datawizard.
It will allow you importing new data either into an existing tab or a new one, and you can create new plots or add the curves to existing plots.

You may want to check the Kst video tutorials: https://kst-plot.kde.org/video_tutorials/ as they will give you a good overview of how things work.
