Unfortunately, currently only from the GUI, though I am thinking about how to
use the command line to adjust ascii settings.
If you plan to normally open the same format file, you can set the ascii
settings as the global default with the GUI once, and then the command line
will work on those types of ascii files after that.
(I just committed a fix where, for example, -y 2 etc will always be the 2nd
column of the data file, even if you have read the field names from the data
file.)
