[Kst] Loading a matrix from ASCII data

Hi,

I wanted to load a matrix from this file (unzipped of course):
https://geospatialpython.googlecode.com/files/dem.zip

I can't get it to work. Somehow it does not seem to recognize the file as ASCII and the configure dialog is tuned for vectors (shortcoming?).
I'd appreciate any help, or an example elevation data in netCDF with appropriate dimenstions so that it can be loaded.
