Peter,

could you apply the patch if it looks good to you, once you've sorted the issue with the dependency on libkstmath? I've tried to merge in your fixed patch in my local version, but I am getting confused and there are problems with some changes I already have and/or issues with your _dp changes. I'd prefer if you could provide something clean. Does that sound feasible?
