> add standard feature: list of recent files
I've just had a quick look at it, and here are some minor comments:
1) I would not add them twice to the File menu. I don't know how many we
remember, but at some point the menu will become too large. Just keep
the Recent Files submenu
2) The Recent Files submenu does not have a keyboard accelerator, which
will be needed for keyboard freaks as soon as we remove the list below
with numbers as accelerators
3) I am wondering whether we shouldn't add another entry for data files,
which we'd then open with the datawizard. It may seem useless as the
wizard itself remembers the last used file, and the file dialog in the
wizard remembers the last used directories, but it's a bit hidden there,
and above all I believe there are issues with KDE integration with the
current approach. I have to test more, but I think on my openSuse system
the standard file/open dialog is KDE's (without the need for any special
code), while that of the data wizard is not. Maybe we could simplify
things by putting all recent files in a submenu. I find it more
consistent.

I'd keep point 3) in mind and tackle it only post 2.0.3, because it has
further-ranging impact. But if people have ideas, we can start to gather
them.
