[Kst] KST over VNC

Hello,

Our research group uses KST and commonly interacts with our data analysis machines using VNC. When seen through a VNC connection, kst2 is missing text labels and other graphical elements (see attached screen capture). kst2 looks fine on a local monitor, and kst1 (and all other software that I'm aware of) looks fine through VNC. I have reproduced this behavior on multiple Ubuntu 10.04 machines running the default GNOME configuration locally and gnome-session, twm, or x-window-manager through VNC. I did attempt to run KDE on one of the machines, but encountered a bunch of errors and haven't pursued it fully.

Any suggestions or experience with this?

Thanks,

Jeff Filippini
