That's what I first thought. But you don't really have nice quality there, which for a screencast is not great. Vimeo comes closest to what I'd like, but you can upload only one HD video per week on a free account. In the end it looked like hosting it ourselves may be the best option! In the end, it seems that Flash is still the best supported option, and it plays H264 files where you get decent quality at slightly more than 1 MB per minute of 1024x768 video, which is not too much.

That being said, I'd like to upload the screencasts on youtube anyway, as it can only help people discover kst, especially as google certainly uses youtube videos and the accompanying text in its ranking algorithm.
