Now that I know in advance that Legend isn't wanted for my plot, on 
setting the "Data Wizard | Legends" radio button to Off,
not only does the initial plot come up correctly without legend, but 
also on File|Open.. it also comes up in the correct state (Legend off).


Looks like you already made the "Data Wizard | Legends" radio button 
group remember its state between uses as well as the "Curve Placement" 
radio button group as part of your fix to 246686, so it's all very 
usable now, thank you very much.


Previously I'd been removing the Legend after it had been plotted
Using Right Click | Legend Menu | Delete -
That removes the legend, but after save/restore, the plot comes back 
showing the legend. I'd still say this is a bug, but it's not one that 
will affect me any more after choosing not to plot the Legend in the 
first place.
