Thanks for the quick answers, and already a nice addition with the
return of command-line printing :-)
I sent my e-mail yesterday quickly before leaving, and I forgot 3
points:
- when adding a plot, the existing layout tends to be redone completely.
This is extremely confusing. It looks to me very similar to a bug that
was fixed a long time ago in kst 1.x
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95029
<https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95029> ), I hope we can just
reuse the same layouting strategy which works great
- when you have zoomed in on a time frame and add a new plot with tied
zoom on, instead of applying the existing zoom to the new plot, the
plot's new zoom is "Maximum". I believe it should be the current tied
zoom's values
- using relative paths for data files: there was a discussion on this
some time ago on the list (Sept. 17th 2009), and Don made a very nice
reply. I agree that sometimes relative is better, sometimes absolute is
better and the user presumably knows best what fits him. We need to find
the right approach and implement it. Tricky issue, though...
