[Kst] spectrum analysis - what is the default apodizing button?

The default is really just a throwback when there was only a single
function for apodisation, so apodisation was either on or off.
Having the default simply provides backward compatibility so that
old kst sessions can be read in.
If you want to look at the source code the relevant file is:
http://websvn.kde.org/branches/work/kst/1.6/kst/src/libkstmath/psdcalculator
.cpp
The mean option does simply subtract the mean from the data
before taking the fourier spectrum.

In the fourier spectrum analysis there is a apodizing function
button, what is the "default" function it uses? Also, there is the
option to take off the mean - I think this can't actually be
subtracting a number off of the data (that would show up as a delta
function @ zero freq in the fft), what is actually happening with
this button? If this is obvious in the source code if you can point
me there, that would be great...Thanks!
