Yes, I have a couple of issues with metadata and more generally the
"namespaceification" of scalars/strings/vectors and the new plugins... I
have not had time to make a list of what is needed to be able to work
properly with metadata, but I will try to post something soon. Locking
issues seem much better indeeed than some time ago.
