Sure, I have the same feelings as you regarding this issue. But I wonder if an entry in KDE Bugzilla is such a good place to discuss this. After all, you, me and $ASSIGNED will read this. Not really a big audience.

Note that this issue has been discussed on kde-i18n-doc kde org before, but without an actual result. Many of the KDE translators think this is a bad situation, but it seems it's hard to solve this problem (they keep believing that 'their' translations are somehow better than upstream translations).
