We did and as I recall both Barth and I agreed that it was better to develop 
by inheriting from the designer dialog. 

"Draft" does not imply unstable. There has been a lot of feedback on these 
two wish items, and I don't expect that all the desired features (and 
subsequent feature creep) will be covered the first time. This checkin is to 
give people the chance to test things and provide feedback.
