  Do we even need it in the update loop?  Maybe whenever docModified happens, 
we can run a cycle detection algorithm to predict problems.  Will have to 
check to see how KstScript behaves with this.  Also the algorithm should 
probably try to use a visitor instead of adding more junk into the objects 
themselves.
