Summary: The datawizard should allow to visualize the current
                    selection easily
           Product: kst
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kst kde org
        ReportedBy: nicolas.brisset eurocopter com

Version: 1.2.0_devel (using KDE 3.4.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3
OS: SunOS (sun4u) release 5.8

When dealing with data files containing large amounts of variables (we routinely have 2000 to 8000 variables !), it is sometimes difficult to keep track of what is currently selected. A means to do that would be very helpful, though I don't exactly know how it should be implemented, but here are a few suggestions:
- button bringing up a popup dialog with the list ?
- button to clear the list temporarily and display only selected vectors ?
- keep them at the top of the list in all circumstances (not my favorite, because it would get in the way of the cool filter feature) ?
- other ?

Note that it would be nice to also have the total number displayed somewhere, possibly in a label below the list (e.g. "[x] variables selected out of [n]").
