[Kst] Release - new try

I just tested kst for a while with dirfile_replay - lots of fits, filters 
equations and other scary stuff - 'worked fine'.  So at very least, the 
locking situation is *a lot* better than what we had previously.  (ie, I saw 
no problems yet.)

So - seems good to me.
