  The problem is clearly my failure to finish the patch I started. :-)  I'll 
commit a "fix" shortly which disables the JS extension if kjsembed is not 
installed system-wide.  I'm going to remove the local copies of KJS and 
KJSEmbed (ideally).  They're too much trouble.
