Use a typedef for the QMap.  I was trying to improve constness which makes
sense in terms of the API, but has proven to be difficult to get right due
to KstSharedPtr and QMap behavior.  Hopefully we can fix this later,
especially before any of this becomes public API.

Oh the name is aweful.  if you have a better one, feel free to change it.
