I sent this email earlier, but apparently the KDE mailing lists don't like

I've created Gimp-Palettes of the 41 standard IDL color tables.  This will 
give us more default palette choices for images and healpix maps.  The 
attached patch adds these color maps to the kst/misc/ directory and also adds 
the install targets in the corresponding Makefile.am
