  I'm still working on it actually.  I opened a support issue with Trolltech.  
Meanwhile every machine (literally every) that I looked in the log on, it 
warns that there is no symbol font and it's being replaced by <some random 
non-symbol font, or sometimes an empty string>, even when both qtconfig and 
xfontsel show 1 or more symbol fonts.  It might work in some cases, but the 
false warning is pretty confusing and really doesn't help anything.  
Hopefully I'll get it fixed before the next release because I want to run a 
routine to install a symbol font if there isn't one present.  I'm definitely 
not ignoring the problem.
