I'm not able to reproduce this. When I zoom I see
x-axis labels indicating where I am. Could you give
more details or include screen shots of before and
after.

Thanks,

Andrew

Summary: broken zoom in base + offset mode
           Product: kst
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kst kde org
        ReportedBy: nicolas.brisset eurocopter com

Version:           1.0.0_pre1 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-7mdk

Zomming seems to be broken in base+offset mode.

How to reproduce:
1) load data from a file, with a curve var=f(Index)
2) change x axis settings to base+offset mode (so far so good)
3) zoom on the area [+1000;+1500]: you have no clue what area you are looking at.

The expected behavior would be for +[1000] to display at the left-most side of x axis labels, then only offsets from +1000.
