   Depends on how you look at it.  Some of the uses here are very intense on 
plugins, almost to the point of making Kst unusable on the hardware they 
have.  Anyway, I'll add ths to a branch if it doesn't go in.

  Oops, good catch.  It could possibly freeParameters() immediately after 
creating them, so that might have crashed.
