Well, it's more of a fundamental flaw in the linefit results than a display bug.  The problem is that a staight line looks curved in a log plot, so if you plot some data and fit a line to it, and are in a log plot, the line fit should look curved.  But since kst connects points of a vector with straight (even in log plots) lines, it becomes a problem when the points of a vector are too far apart.
