George,

I know this isn't how things have been done in the past, but would it be
possible to not have the '-' in the version during devel time?  (Either
1.0.0_devel or 1.0.0devel or 1.0.0.devel or whatever).  You see, the way
rpms work, a dash is invalid in the version number (or any part of the
package name other than in the actual name of the project).  Every time
I make an rpm (during devel time), I have to remove the '-' from the
spec file.
