[Kst] Optimizations

   I did some profiling  and I've discovered some serious hotspots with 
performance impact on Kst.  Most of the problems are dialog or label related.  
I committed three fixes a few minutes ago and it seems to me that they have 
quite an impact on the apparent speed of Kst.  Does anyone notice a 
difference?

  More work is pending but the fixes are more intrusive than these ones were.
