A bit of fiddling on my side sorted it out.

I'm afraid it was a failure to understand the nature of the UID's (partly
due to a different look on the manual). After undersanding that the uid
required that the uid be an email at the kolab domain it all fell into
place.

The system now works fine - now I need only set up the mail and address book
sides and the shared folders on outlook - a Monday morning job I think. Had
enough of pc's for the day (Outlook started playing up with the exchange
side and crashed at least 20 times).

Back to where I was though once I got the Toltec working with exchange. Now
to move (well, copy) everything across and test it in earnest that way.

I just need some more information:

What version of Kolab are you using and what is the version of cyrus?

Are you trying to login as a user at domain.tlc or are you trying to login as
manager via Toltec?
