[Kroupware] Outlook cannot log in to IMAP server

Hi all,

I'm testing a install of Kolab 1.08 installed from the src RPMs at
http://www.erfrakon.de/projects/kolab/download/kolab-server-1.0/src/

Using Mozilla 1.5 on Linux, clients can log in, send mail, etc.
A typical extract from the imapd.log (trimmed & wrapped):

Feb 18 11:53:12 limoncello <debug> imapd[19236]: accepted connection
Feb 18 11:53:12 limoncello <notice> imapd[19236]:
TLS engine: cannot load CA data
Feb 18 11:53:12 limoncello <notice> imapd[19236]:
starttls: TLSv1 with cipher AES256-SHA (256/256 bits reused)
	no authentication
Feb 18 11:53:19 limoncello <notice> imapd[19236]:
	login: pastis[192.168.5.100] jbloggs at example.com plain+TLS
	User logged in
Feb 18 11:53:19 limoncello <debug> imapd[19236]:
seen_db: user jbloggs at example^com opened
	/kolab/var/imapd/user/j/jbloggs at example^com.seen
Feb 18 11:53:19 limoncello <debug> imapd[19236]:
open: user jbloggs at example^com opened INBOX

Basically, everything works. The "TLS engine: cannot load CA data" line
is worrying, but IMAP over TLS seems to work regardless.

However, using Outlook 2000 on Windows 2000 doesn't work. Outlook
launches, and then freezes. Normally with the message in the status bar
"Fetching new headers in the inbox for <hostname>". I've all Office
Updates applied, so I don't think it's the same problem that's noted in
Microsoft's Knowledge Base article Q283191.

In the logs, all I see is:

Feb 18 12:42:27 limoncello <debug> imapd[20294]: accepted connection
Feb 18 15:21:52 limoncello <debug> imapd[20912]: mydelete:
	starting txn 2147483687
Feb 18 15:21:52 limoncello <debug> imapd[20912]: mydelete:
	committing txn 2147483687
Feb 18 15:21:52 limoncello <debug> imapd[20912]: mystore:
	starting txn 2147483688
Feb 18 15:21:52 limoncello <debug> imapd[20912]: mystore:
	committing txn 2147483688
Feb 18 12:42:27 limoncello <notice> imapd[20294]:
TLS engine: cannot load CA data
Feb 18 12:42:27 limoncello <notice> imapd[20294]:
starttls: TLSv1 with cipher RC4-MD5 (128/128 bits reused)
	no authentication
Feb 18 12:42:27 limoncello <notice> imapd[20294]:
	login: machine2[192.168.5.140] pgargan at example.com plaintext+TLS
Feb 18 12:42:27 limoncello <debug> imapd[20294]:
seen_db: user pgargan at example^com opened
	/kolab/var/imapd/user/p/pgargan at example^com.seen

I'm not sure what the "mydelete" and "mystore" entries are, or if
they're relevant to this example. Note that the "login:" line *doesn't*
say "User logged in" whereas the log from the Mozilla client does.

Has anyone else seen this problem?
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Regards,
Paul Gargan.
