I'm experiementing with Kolab v 1.0 - binary RPM downloaded & installed ~
10/2/2003 on RH 9. Have found that my clients can not create folders
under the Inbox from imap connectins (imap or imaps). They can connect,
log in, read, delete (and even "upload" mail to the) imap Inbox, but they
can not create sub-folders. Connections are proxied via Linux NAT to a
live test address in a DMZ.
Outlook (Bynari) gives this error: "...could not create remote folder...
This usually happens if you do not have sufficient priviliges to create
folders in this particular mailbox..."
NS 7.1 appears to be creating the subfolder but does not (creating a
"local" copy only?), but generates the same error when attempting to
create a peer folder to Inbox.
imapd.log lists on the opperation:
imapd[xxxx]: login: my.foo.bar[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] user1 at foo.bar plain+TLS
User logged in
...
imapd[xxxx]: open: user user1 at foo^bar opened INBOX
...
imapd[xxxx]: myfetch: starting txn xxxxxxxxxx
imapd[xxxx]: abort_txn: aborting txn xxxxxxxxxx
