Hi Dick,
Is it possible that you have the user on the system as a mailbox user as well
as an address book user?
I would recommend that you verify that in /kolab/etc/kolab/saslauthd.conf.template
the value:
ldap_scope: one
is set. This way SASL will not get confused by multiple entries in the directory.
