Ok, I tried and it worked, the relevant scheme for openldap
to extend seems to be inetorgperson.schema. I added
fields to create_vcard.php with the attributes named in that
scheme file and I now have additional data in the vcards, 
editable in the webinterface.
I wondered , the "beautify" part of the php scripts shows 
the fields in the webinterface but it is in english ,
I go translate them all in dutch, but maybe it's more
conveniant to have the "beautify" part , read it's strings
it should show in the webinterface for the various attributes
from a sort of selectable language files, so that one
doesn't need to edit all the php scripts but simply define
which language file should be used.
