I am having the hardest time trying to following the directions at
http://intevation.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs-kolab.cgi/server/doc/QIM?rev=1.15.2.1&only_with_tag=KOLAB_1_0&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup
Here are the things I found I had to do just to get a workable install.
1: I had to modify the buildkolab.sh to use ncftpget instead of wget. For some
reason wget was giving me connection errors but ncftpget works fine.
2: The stable branch (1.0) is missing gcc and instead has a gcc32. Several of
the packages depend on gcc. I was able to download this from openpkg's site.
3: I had to change some of the Makefile's because some of the packages up on
openpkg.org were no longer available. Some how I know this isn't right so
someone please correct me.
After all of this work I was able to get Kolab to install on Gentoo Linux. I
even starts without error.
www root # /kolab/etc/rc.d/rc.kolab start
starting openldap ...
starting sasl ...
starting cyrus imapd ...
starting apache ...
/kolab/sbin/apachectl start: httpd started
starting postfix ...
postfix/postfix-script: starting the Postfix mail system
starting kolab backend (please wait)
The admin page allows me to login but I get nothing. I do see this error in my
system logs.

What did I miss?
