If you mean the KDE Kolab client, 
you currently have to give the password to the secretary.
She must run a second KMail using a different .kde.

The important part here is that you can have two clients
working on the same account. Of course it is planned in the future
to better support shared folders without fresh full accounts.
Part of that support is already in place in 1.0.1, but your 
milage will vary a lot.
