I install currently a Kolab1.0 on one of my gentoo Server.
Afte the correctls installation of Kolab starts the bootstrap and now
begins the Problems:

´----------------------------------------
the kolab server should be installed successfully now...
to start the server execute
Starting the bootstrap script...
(/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b)

KOLAB BOOTSTRAP

Please enter Hostname [aztechnology.matrix.local]:
proceeding with Hostname aztechnology.matrix.local
Please enter your Maildomain [matrix.local]:
proceeding with Maildomain matrix.local
prepare LDAP database...
kill running slapd (if any)
temporarily start slapd
could not connect ldap server at /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap line 160.
Can't call method "bind" without a package or object reference at
/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap line 162.
of course no other servers should be running, which already
use the ports for mail or http or so...

to connect to the administration server connect to
https://localhost/ with username manager. the password is
in the file /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab.conf in the line beginning
with bind_pw.
`----------------------------------------

Okay, afte the code-check in the bootstrap script, i start this line
manually:

aztechnology kolab-server-1.0 # $kolab_prefix/libexec/slapd -h
ldap://127.0.0.1:389/ -f $kolab_prefix/etc/openldap/slapd.conf
-bash: /kolab/libexec/slapd: No such file or directory

And it's correct, the 'slapd' isn't available:

aztechnology kolab-server-1.0 # ls -l /kolab/libexec/
total 8
drwxr-xr-x 2 kolab kolab 4096 Jul 25 12:43 openldap
drwxr-xr-x 2 root kolab 4096 Jul 25 12:46 postfix

And now?
Any Idea?
