Note that the build scripts are just a scripted
version of the QIM. The script still uses OpenPKG.

It helps not to think of Kolab as another
build/package system but rather as a whole product
with its own internal package management.

In Gentoo terms your ebuild could reflect the steps in
the QIM. 

The hardcoded issue will be addressed in upcoming
versions. Personally I think Kolab belongs under
/opt/kolab
