Hi,
the volunteer victim company has currently running beta2.1. Mail that
should be read by various persons , or can be handled by various persons
should go to a mailgroup account, e.g. info@<domain>. In beta2.1 it was
possible to sent mail to shared folders , e.g. it was possible to create a
shared folder , give a number of users appropriate rights to that folder ,
and use it as a mailgroup, because it was possible to sent mail to the
<shared folder name>@domain email address. That doesn't work anymore ,
so no more mailgroups and thus an important funtionality is exit.
I hope this explains why it is difficult to upgrade to kolab-1.0, because
mailgroups is important functionality, didn't expect that kolab-1.0 wouldn't
offer the workaround through shared folders anymore.
