Hi,

install it with rpm --ignore-os ...

rpm --help | grep ignoreos
  --ignoreos[|=3D0x1] don't verify package operating =
system

it works for me on woody and sid.

Regards,

Sven

2.1/bin/debian-3.0.

When trying to install the first RPM I get the following results.

laborrate3:/kolab/RPM/PKG# /kolab/bin/rpm -ihv
make-3.80-1.2.0.ix86-linux2.4-kol.rpm
Preparing... ###########################################
[100%]
package make-3.80-1.2.0 is for a different operating system

Hmm, well this IS woody, Debian 3.0.

What am I doing wrong?=20

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
