We know. And it's something we have to look into of course. The reason is=20
that we've had too little time to develop this, so we focused on=20
stability over speed. Now that it's stable and the betas start coming out=20
the door, we can start worrying about speedups.
I know this is a debatable decision - especially wether or not one should=20
put out a beta with this - but we felt that it was usable. I at least=20
enjoy using disconnected IMAP.

It was removed completely because KMail made a lot of wrong assumptions as=
=20
soon as imap was involved. I don't think it will be back.

The way I do it is to have as little in my IMAP folders as possible, then=20
it's possible to work with it. But that's of course a bad workaround.
