[Kroupware] followup: kolab Error starting up

Hy list,

just noticed that the subject of my previous posting was ignored, 
perhaps too long?

I still get the error
Login failed: generic failure at 
/kolab/lib/perl/site_perl/5.8.0/i686-linux/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line 118
cyradm: cannot authenticate to server with login as root

I can however invoke the webinterface and add users. If I try to 
connect to the imap server I get
Aug 15 01:52:54 horizon <notice> imapd[14117]: cannot connect to 
saslauthd server: Permission denied
Aug 15 01:52:54 horizon <notice> imapd[14117]: badlogin: 
[192.168.101.53] plaintext tina SASL(-1): generic failure: checkpass 
failed
