When you start kolab the /kolab/bin and /kolab/sbin must be in your PATH. I got the same error message while running "kolab start" as root with the normal root PATH. I put all the environment variables mentioned in QIM into /kolab/.envfile and source this file before root starts kolab. Then it works. Ralf Baerwaldt
