I had the same errors on my Mandrake 9.0 and Mandrake 9.1 box. My
problem was that I was using LDAP for authentication so in my
/etc/nsswitch.conf file was:
passwd:  files ldap
shadow:  files ldap
group:   files ldap

when I removed the ldap entries it worked fine. My mandrake Postfix
works fine, so there must be something wrong in the Postfix rpm for OpenPKG.
